Why Is Conveyor Protection Important Around a DHL Mobile Plant?

Client Brief

DHL required a safety barrier solution for its facility at Erskine Park, NSW.

The client needed to separate and protect a designated pedestrian walkway and fire exit path from mobile plant and nearby pallet storage on site.

Assessment

Based on the site requirements, a physical barrier system was required to clearly separate pedestrian areas from mobile plant movements and pallet storage.

Custom manufactured Defender Post and Rail was selected to create a defined protective barrier along the designated pedestrian walkway and fire exit path. Pallet angle protection was also used to provide additional separation from pallet storage areas.

Outcome

The completed solution created a clear physical separation between the designated pedestrian walkway, fire exit path, mobile plant and pallet storage areas, helping maintain safer pedestrian access throughout the site.
