Tactile indicators are designed to provide assistance for visually impaired pedestrians. Their colour and raised profile patterns are specifically designed to provide vision impaired pedestrians with warning of approaching hazards and to give directional guidance. There are two types of tactile indicators, a warning tile comprising of round, raised studs, and a directional tile comprising a series of ridge patterns. The tiles are supplied in 300mm x 300mm square tiles and are available in a variety of colours.

All tiles comply with Australian standard AS1428.4:2021, have been tested and comply with slip resistance ratings and are UV stabilised.

Installation: No need for mixing messy epoxy resins. The tiles are supplied as standard with an aggressive, peel and stick adhesive backing for easy installation on a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces. Alternatively, the tiles can be supplied without the adhesive backing for use with your own adhesive. NB. All tactile indicators are currently exempt from GST.
